AcceptanceThese Terms are an agreement between you and Ghost of You LLC ("Ghost of You," "we," "us," or "our"), the company that operates the Ghost of You application ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.## 2. EligibilityYou must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.## 3. What the App DoesThe App lets you create an AI voice clone of your own voice and have AI-generated spoken conversations: talking to your own clone, talking to a friend's clone, or sending your clone to call a friend who has accepted you, with a purpose you provide. The voice on these calls is an AI, not a live person.## 4. Your Voice CloneYou may only create a voice clone of your own voice. Submitting another person's voice without their explicit, verifiable consent is strictly prohibited.
Your clone is for personal, non-commercial use within the App.
You retain ownership of your voice data and may delete your clone and account at any time in Settings.## 5. AI-Generated ContentConversations are produced by automated AI systems. Responses may be inaccurate, unexpected, or not reflect your actual views, and should not be relied upon for important, medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions. You are responsible for the "purpose" and "personality" text you provide and for how you use the App.## 6. Acceptable Use & Zero ToleranceYou agree not to create, request, or transmit content, and not to use the App, in any way that:- harasses, bullies, threatens, stalks, defames, or intimidates any person;
- is hateful or promotes violence or discrimination against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristic;
- is sexually explicit, or that sexualizes or involves minors in any way;
- promotes self-harm, suicide, or violence, or facilitates illegal activity;
- impersonates, defrauds, deceives, or creates misleading, non-consensual, or harmful voice content;
- clones a voice that is not your own, or contacts anyone who has not accepted you as a friend; or
- attempts to reverse-engineer, abuse, or circumvent the App's safety systems.There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts for violations with or without notice.## 7. Safety, Moderation & ReportingWe use automated and human review. Text you submit is screened by automated content moderation before use, and the App provides tools to report and block other users. We review reports and act on violations, including content removal and account termination. To report abuse or a safety concern, use the in-app report tools or email us at the address below.## 8. Calls to FriendsYou may only call, or send your clone to call, people who have mutually accepted you as a friend. You are responsible for the purpose and content of any call you initiate. Do not use calls to harass, deceive, or harm anyone.Calendar Presence is an optional, off-by-default feature you may enable in Settings. If you enable it, you authorize your clone to share a minimal current/next calendar summary, at the detail level you choose, with approved friends who call you, and you are responsible for what you choose to share. You can disable it at any time, which deletes the stored summary. See our Privacy Policy for details.Calendar invites. If a call produces a concrete plan, the App may offer to add it to your calendar. You choose whether to add it, and the event is written to your own device's calendar. You are responsible for confirming the details are correct.## 9. ClipsThe App lets you create a short video clip of a conversation, which you can save or share outside the App.- You may only clip a friend's ghost if that friend has granted you clip permission, and they may withdraw it at any time. Attempting to capture a conversation without that permission is a violation of these Terms.
- A clip contains both sides of the conversation. You are responsible for anything you choose to share and for where you share it.
- Once you share a clip outside the App, it is outside our control — we cannot recall or delete copies that exist elsewhere.
- Clips are labeled to identify the voices as AI clones. Do not remove, crop out, or obscure that labeling, and do not present a clip as a recording of a real person speaking. Doing so is a serious violation and grounds for immediate termination under Section 6.
- If you block someone, your existing clips of their ghost — and theirs of yours — are hidden from the blocked party.
- We may remove clips and suspend accounts for violations, under Section 6.## 10. Plans & BillingThe App offers a free tier with monthly usage limits. Paid subscription plans, where offered, are sold and billed through the Apple App Store and renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law or by Apple's policies. The person who initiates a call is responsible for the usage it consumes.## 11. Account TerminationWe may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.## 12. Disclaimer & Limitation of LiabilityThe App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ghost of You LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any AI-generated content, arising from your use of the App.## 13. ChangesWe may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.## 14.
